Jeff "Frosty" Frost - DC National

For some thirty years, Frosty has been involved in just about everything related to the growth of Mountain Biking as a sport. For those that have heard about or maybe even raced in a NORBA National Championship Series event... well... you've raced in one of Frosty's races.

A few years ago my friends in DC were looking for a new operation director...and I thought to myself...why not see if Frosty would be willing to come over to the running side of the street... The rest is history.. he manages the operations now for the SunTrust National Marathon which is operated by the Greater Washington Sports Alliance (Mr. Bob Sweeney, Chris Brown...etc...) and is having a wonderful time with it all. In addition, to his new duties in DC it's still plenty easy enough to see Frosty on the start line of nearly any major Mtn Bike race in the country from the Nationals to Sea Otter Classic.

Dan Browne - Olympian and US Army!

If you follow the Olympics...USA Track and Field... then you know Dan as a two discipline Olympian. If you pay attention to US Distance Road Racing...and RunningUSA...you know Dan as one of RunningUSA's sponsored Elites...

But... if you follow Armed Forces Sports Program's ... you probably know Dan as: Major Dan Browne, US Army Active Duty... Armed Forces World Class Athlete Program Member. Dan was slated to be a member on the up coming The Warriors Tour in the Middle East this July... a few weeks ago... another big "calling" was placed infront of Dan...his being named to the USA World Marathon Championships Team! So while Dan had to step down off the Warrior Tours group (for this summer) we sure as heck are proud of the fact that this WCAP's athlete was willing to go the distance for our troops and his fellow soldiers ... Good luck at the World Championships Major!!!!! We'll miss him on the July Tour, but know that he'll be back with us on a future trip down the road.

We salute Major Dan Browne, for all four of these "major" accomplishments... and have our fingers crossed for his bid to make the 2012 Summer Olympic Team!
